The City of Waterville has a local income tax rate of 2%. This tax is levied on the income of residents, non-resident employees, and corporations operating within the City. Residents who work in another municipality and who have an income tax liability in that municipality may receive a credit for taxes paid to the City of Waterville, provided that the credit does not apply against the first 0.5% levied by Waterville. Specific questions can be directed to R.I.T.A. by calling 1-800-860-7482, or visiting ritaohio.com.
