Learn More About Barb

My husband works at the University of Toledo as an IT supervisor. We choose to live and raise our family in Waterville for it’s small town values and the Anthony Wayne school system. While we watch as Waterville grows, and consequently change, I will fight to preserve those same small town values that keep this community strong.

My husband and I formed the company after a career change in January 2011. The company recycles old computers, printers, cell phones, etc. by re-purposing and/or scraping end-of-life components. We’re very happy to report that we are able to keep 99% of the e-waste out of landfills! I served on council from 1996-1999. I was instrumental in ensuring that our tax dollars were spent wisely while making many positive contributions to Waterville. For example, I helped form the Waterville Senior Citizen Group. I was instrumental in creating Waterville’s first web presence on the Internet. As chair of the Parks & Recreational Committee, I brought the community together to build a new playground at Baer Park. The Committee also developed the walking, running trail there. I along with members of the community formed the Tree Commission that helped garner Waterville’s designation as a Tree City USA.

There were many more accomplishments during my four-year stay on council. My desire then and now is to serve the public. I will be the peoples voice and will bring their issues and concerns to council for deliberation. I believe in government accountability, planned growth and an open government.
